As specialists in target marketing, it’s Southeast Media’s goal to reach more of your best customers, while minimizing your ad spend on customers who are not good prospects. So how do we do that? We believe it is a simple process that can be applied to any business, and it works like this...
1. Focus and Analyse- Understand your market, your industry, your environment, your competition and your customers. Understand what your company is now, and what you want it to be.
2. Develop- Create a plan of attack based on what we know, but also a plan on how we will learn more about your customers. Targeting is a process. It’s never really complete. The goal is to continuously improve on the market and the message.
3. Implement- Develop art, messages and offers that appeal to your customer. Execute the agreed upon plan on time, on target and on budget using an integrated approach that combines the best of each media against the target audience.
4. Analyse- Measure the results of everything you do, by media, and in store. Look at what works best and determine why. Then look for ways to improve what works and eliminate what doesn’t
This can all be very simple, and may consist of a radius around a store, or it can be incredibly complicated using databases, algorithms and A/B testing. But what’s most important is that it be right for you, the customer.
